AMVETS Post To?Host Bake Sale

SUGAR GROVE - Sugar Grove AMVETS Post 50 Auxiliary will host a bake sale starting at 11 a.m. Saturday and continuing until the items are gone. Proceeds will benefit the Sugar Grove Elementary School. Donations can be dropped off at the post Friday or Saturday.

CWC?To Host Event Wednesday

The Chautauqua Watershed Conservancy will host an Integrating Land and Water Protection to Benefit Coldwater Fisheries and Associated Aquatic Species webinar at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the third-floor conference room at the Tew Mansion, 413 N. Library Begins Candy?Corn Contest

BEMUS POINT - The Bemus Point Library is offering a $25 Amazon gift card to the person who correctly guesses the number of candy corn in the mason jar at the front desk. Auto Club To Meet Wednesday

The Chautauqua Lake Region Antique Automobile Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Fluvanna War Vets. Guests are welcome to attend. The club is open to anyone interested in antique and classic automobiles. For more information, call Al Oag at 483-6287.

Author To Speak At Railroaders Meeting

The Independent Railroaders will feature a presentation by Ken Springirth on Friday in the First Lutheran Church, 120 Chandler St., Jamestown. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. The program will begin at 7 p.m. Springirth, the author of 18 railroad and trolly books, will speak on ''Remembering the Erie Lackawanna Railroad,'' from the beginning to the present, including the Erie Lackawanna Station in Jamestown. Falconer Planning Board To Meet

FALCONER - The Falconer Planning Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the board room of the Falconer Community Building. Various village codes will be reviewed. The public is welcome to attend.

Falconer After-Prom To Meet

FALCONER - A Falconer after-prom meeting is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 22 at 6 p.m. in the eighth-grade project room. All 11th- and 12th-grade students should turn in money and forms by Thursday, Oct. 18. Any questions please call Rosie Digirolamo at 665-5360.

St. Mary's Cemetery Group To Meet

SOUTH VALLEY - St. Mary's Cemetery, Gurnsey Hollow Road in the town of South Valley will hold a committee meeting at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Horseshoe Inn, West Perimeter Road in South Valley.
