Ross Patti

Ross Patti, 84, formerly of Tanglewood Manor and Falconer, passed away Thursday (Oct. 11, 2012) in Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing Center.

An area resident most of his life, he was born March 6, 1928, in Falconer, the son of the late Anthony and Sarah Mesi Patti.

Ross attended Falconer schools. In earlier years Ross had owned and operated the former Golden Gloves Restaurant in Falconer and operated Rosario's Restaurant in Fal-coner for over 30 years, retiring in 1995.

He was a member of Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church.

Surviving are his son, Anthony (Debbie) Patti of Jamestown; his daughter, Valeree (Charles) Vullo of San Jose, Calif.; three grandchildren: Andrea Patti of Jamestown, Adrienne Vullo of Tampa, Fla., Charles Vullo of San Jose, Calif.; a great-grandchild, Lian Sieber of Jamestown; and two sisters: Natalie Milliner of Jamestown and Santina Stohl of Kennedy.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lee Delvecchio Patti, whom he married July 4, 1953, in St. John Catholic Church, who died Jan. 2, 2004; four sisters: Angeline Scardamaglia, Josephine Cusimano, Jessie DiMaio and Ida Angilella; and a brother George Patti.

The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Falconer Funeral Home. The Rev. Joseph Janaczek, pastor of Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be donated to the Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Road, Jamestown, NY 14701.
