LAKEWOOD - Upsets were the main story in the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Doubles Tournament on Thursday at the Lakewood Family YMCA.
Samantha Robbins and Dori Ruff of Chautauqua Lake knocked off top-seeded Morgan Johnson and Heidi Mueller of Southwestern, 7-6 (7-4 tie-breaker) and 6-3.
In the second upset, Emily Hair and Rosemarie Mole of Frewsburg beat Georgianna Gens and Lauren Millson of Fredonia, 6-1, 1-6, 6-3.

Abby Whisner and Chloe Knapp of Jamestown prevailed over Corrine Cardinale and Holly Lehman of Maple Grove, 6-2, 3-6, 6-4.
Elizabeth Rowan and Victoria VanEvery of Southwestern defeated Emma Black and Allison Munella of Falconer, 6-1, 6-3, to claim a berth in the final four.
The semifinals and the finals of the doubles are today along with the singles semifinals and finals, beginning at noon, at the Lakewood YMCA.
