WESTFIELD - The Westfield Republican Town Committee is sponsoring a meet the candidates chicken and biscuit dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 23, at the Assembly of God Church.
U.S. Rep. Tom Reed, R-Corning; state Assemblyman Andy Goodell, R-Chautauqua County; and Chautauqua County Court Judge John Ward will be in attendance, as well as David Foley, Chautauqua County district attorney, and Sandy Sopak, Chautauqua County clerk.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children under 10. Tickets may be purchased from any committee member, elected official serving the town or village or from ticket chairperson Marilyn Hemmer at 326-3504. Two ticket holders will win a $25 gift certificate to Beth's Parkview Cafe. Proceeds from the dinner will benefit Westfield Main Street holiday decorations.
