The Post-Journal

PANAMA - Rainy conditions and a sloppy field didn't stop Panama or Pine Valley (3-6, 5-8) from playing a solid defensive game on Wednesday, but Panama (5-5, 5-6) was the team that found the net, posting a 1-0 victory in Division 3 girls soccer.

The only goal of the game came from Kirsten Green, who scored off an assist by Megan Conway 19 minutes into the first half.

Rebekah Whitmore earned the win in goal for Panama with two saves.

Nicole Rhinehart had a busy day with 22 saves for Pine Valley.
