FREWSBURG - Rosemary L. Bloomquist, 89, of 324 Warren Road, died Monday (Oct. 8, 2012), at WCA Hospital.
She was born May 14, 1923 in Sargeant, Pa., the daughter of Philip and Christina Amitone Scutella.
She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church in Frewsburg.

Rosemary is survived by her husband, James Bloomquist Sr., whom she married March 13, 1948, in Cumberland, Md.; five children: Cathy Lynn Swanson of Jamestown, Mary Ann (Late John) Sanborn, Rita (Kim) Kidd, David (Trudy) Bloomquist of Frewsburg, and James Jr. (Roberta) Bloomquist of Dahlonega, Ga.; her grandchildren: Amy, Laurie, Vicki, John Jr. (Katherine) Sandborn, Phillip (Heather) Sandborn, Julie (John) Clark, Shelley Kidd, Emily Kidd, Richard (Wen-dy) Pecoraro, Robert (Sharon) Pecoraro, Jerad Karns, Jennifer (late Matt) Wentz, Jessie Karns, and William ''Bill" Fuller; mul-tiple great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and a sister, Joan Scutella of Kane, Pa.
She was predeceased by an infant daughter; five sisters: Marie Gardner, Katherine Smith, Margaret Sevence, Eleanor Avenili and Florence Gustafson; and two brothers: William and Phillip Scutella.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg. Deacon Michael Lennon of St. James, Our Lady of Victory Oratory, will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Kane, Pa.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
