SYRACUSE -Brittany Brace was named to the all-tournament team as Jamestown Community College finished fourth at the Onondaga CC Volleyball Tournament in NJCAA Region 3, Division III action.
JCC (19-3, 25-7) was defeated by Monroe CC, 20-25, 25-13, 13-15, in the battle for third place
Christina Rauh delivered two aces, 29 assists, three kills, 15 digs and a block; Aricca Lis had 14 kills, 15 digs and block; Brace recorded an ace, 12 kills, eight digs and a block; and Kelsey Kyser had five kills, 10 digs and block against Monroe.
Then for fifth place, JCC defeated Corning CC, 25-6, 26-24.
Rauh had two aces, 11 assists, six kills, 12 digs and a block; Lis added eight kills, three digs; Brace had an ace, five kills and two digs; and Kyser three kills and 14 blocks.
The event began with JCC losing to Onondaga CC, 17-25, 22-25.
Rauh recorded 10 assists, an ace, three kills, six digs and a block; Brace had an ace, four kills, three digs; Anna Nietupski picked up three kills and nine digs; and Lis had an ace, three kills and six digs.
Then, JCC prevailed over Alfred State College, 25-18, 25-16.
Rauh collected 19 assists, three kills, seven digs and two blocks; Lis had seven kills and 17 digs; Brace recorded an ace, two assists, six kills, seven digs and block; and Nietupski had four kills, four digs and Kyser four kills and four digs.
Rauh had an ace, 13 assists, nine kills and nine digs in a 28-26, 25-20 victory over Finger Lakes CC/.
Kyser had seven kills, seven digs and block; Brace had an ace, six kills and seven digs; and Lis had two aces, four kills and two digs.
Next it was 25-16 and 25-17 win over SUNY Delhi.
Rauh had two aces, 14 assists, two kills and six digs; Brace contributed two assists, six kills, six digs and block; Kyser had two aces, four kills, two kills and a block; and Lis five kills and two digs.
