FREWSBURG - Junior Derek Smith took care of all the scoring as Frewsburg (6-5) shut out Falconer (1-9-1), 2-0, in non-league boys soccer on Saturday.
Smith scored the opening goal with 5:30 left in the first half and Brett Johnson had the assist.
Smith scored again 17:58 into the second half off an Alex Elderkin assist.
Justin Randall recorded the shutout in goal for the Bears and made two saves.
WARREN TOPS JHS
Warren (9-3) recorded a goal in each half en route to 2-0 win over Jamestown (2-10).
The Dragons were scoreless until 3:02 of the second half when Sandberg banged in a rebound for a 1-0 edge.
It remained that way until 4:31 when Biel found the range for the insurance goal.
Liam Kulakowski started in net for Jamestown and made four saves in the first half before coming out with an injury. Chris Falconer went the rest of the way and made five saves.
