The Chautauqua County Board of Elections will be open extended hours leading up to the Nov. 6 general election, according to Norman P. Green and Brian C. Abram, Chautauqua County elections commissioners.
The Board of Elections will open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday for voter registration and to allow voters who will be absent from the county on election day to come and vote in person. Saturday is also the last day for in-person voter registration.
Friday is the last day for voters to postmark a new voter registration to be eligible for the November election.
The election board will also be open for absentee voter balloting on Saturday, Oct. 20, and Saturday, Oct. 27, from 9 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, Oct. 24, and Wednesday, Oct. 31, until 7 p.m. and Thursday, Oct. 25, and Thursday, Nov. 2, until 7 p.m.
Normal Board of Elections hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. For more information, call the Chautauqua County Board of Elections at 753-4580.
