CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

Giustino G. Nasca, 21, an inmate of the Chautauqua County Jail was charged at 3 p.m. Thursday with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. Deputies had to remove Giustino G. Nasca from Town of Ripley Court when he began using loud and abusive language to courtroom personnel. Nasca, during his time in court, also injured another individual. He was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail and will appear in the Town of Ripley Court on a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

James A. Marucci, 23, of Falconer and Bradley J. Woodard, 23, of Jamestown, were charged at 11:17 p.m. Thursday with second-degree obstruction of governmental administration, local law observation of rules and regulation, and driving out of class. A Jamestown Police K-9 Unit was checking Bergman Park on foot after close. Upon arrival, police observed two mopeds enter the park after going around the gate after close. Police were able to stop the mopeds on Baker Street shortly after fleeing. Marucci and Woodard were taken into custody, charged and were transported to City Jail in lieu of bail.

Jedediah J. Shaw, 30, of 207 Spring St., Apt. 16, Jamestown, was charged Friday with two counts of fourth-degree grand larceny. A warrant has been served on Shaw after he used a stolen credit card at The Finish Line and The Foot Locker in the Chautauqua Mall. A detainer was sent to the Chautauqua County Jail where he is being held. He is due in the Town of Busti Court on Thursday to be arraigned on these charges.

Fernando N. Velazquez, 25, of Jamestown was charged at 6:01 p.m. Thursday with shoplifting. Police responded to a call of a shoplifter in Wal-Mart. When they arrived on the scene, Wal-Mart loss prevention had Velazquez in custody. He had left with about $145 worth of merchandise when apprehended. He is due to appear in the Town of Busti Court at a later date.

Wayne A. Snyder, 22, of 9 English St., Jamestown, was charged at 1:45 p.m. Friday with a bench warrant and failure to appear on second-degree criminal impersonation. A detainer was sent to the Chautauqua County Jail where Snyder is being held on other charges. He failed to appear in the Town of Busti Court to answer the original charge on criminal impersonation second and a warrant was issued Thursday. He is due in court on Thursday.
