Join Chautauqua County's own Babes of Wrath for Girls' Night B'out as they engage in skate-to-skate combat with the Hellbilly Heartbreakers from Olean today at Allen Park Ice Rink, 200 Elizabeth Ave., Jamestown. Doors open at 6 p.m., with the game starting at 7 p.m. In addition to all the roller derby action, there will be an exclusive performance of our national anthem by Tiny B.
Pre-sale tickets are available for $8 at Labyrinth Press Co.,12 E. Fourth St., Jamestown; Spike Daily's, on the Boardwalk, in Dunkirk, or from a derby girl. Tickets will be available for $10 at the door. Admission will be free for kids 12 and under, with half-time games and prizes. This bout will feature ladies' night, with one free drink of choice for each ticket purchased by a woman.
A 50/50 drawing will be held to raise funds for Infinity Visual and Performing Arts, Inc. Infinity is an innovative music and arts education program located in Jamestown. The program in accessible to any student demonstrating a desire to pursue learning in the visual and performing arts, without regard to gender, ethnicity, social or religious background, prior experience, or ability to pay. At Infinity, aspiring young musicians are able to develop and enhance their creative talents and performance skills under the guidance of local, professional musicians and educators. Chautauqua County Roller Derby will match funds raised for Infinity during the event.
