Angelo and Grace D'Angelo celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on Sept. 20, 2012, with a marriage renewal blessing at their home and a party. Father Darrell Duffy, pastor of St. James Parish performed the ceremony. The celebration was hosted by their family members.
D'Angelo and the former Grace Rizzo were married in St. Anthony's of Padua Church in Fredonia, N.Y. Father Pio Parolin performed the ceremony.
D'Angelo is retired from the former Crescent Tool Co., and was an accomplished bowler and golfer. Mrs. D'Angelo retired from the former Marlin Rockwell Co., where she had been employed as an executive secretary.
