Southwestern won its second straight Division 1 tennis title on Thursday and improved to 15-0 overall and 10-0 in league after sweeping Jamestown (5-8, 5-5), 5-0.
"We were the defending league champions, our goal was to defend that and I think we did a pretty good job,'' Southwestern coach Rod Beckerink said.
Elizabeth Rowan and Victoria VanEvery finished the year undefeated at first doubles behind a 6-0, 6-1 win over Kim Lindquist and Olivia Valone.
