OLEAN - It was a record-setting night when Southwestern topped host Olean, 99-86, in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association swimming recently.
The 200-yard medley relay team of Sydney Burk, Shelby Lunz, Xiane Smith and Sydney Thomas broke a 13-year-old school record with a finish in just 1:59.86 as the Lady Trojans won seven of 12 events.
For Olean, Makayla Sargent won the 200 freestyle (1:56.44) and the 100 butterfly (59.53) and Emily Simon the 50 freestyle (25.87) and the 100 freestyle (55.87) in defeat.
