FREDONIA - The State University at Fredonia School of Music will hold several ensemble concerts, faculty recitals and guest artists in October.

The Rosch Recital Hall is home to all faculty and guest artist recitals in October, including:
saxophone professor Wildy Zumwalt at 8 p.m. Friday;
the faculty ensemble ANA featuring soprano Angela Haas, cellist Natasha Farny and pianist Anne Kissel at 4 p.m. Saturday;
guest clarinetist Andrea Cheeseman at 8 p.m. Monday;
the faculty ensemble Fredonia Wind Quintet featuring Susan Royal, flute, Sarah Hamilton, oboe, Laura Koepke, bassoon, Andrew Seigel, clarinet, and Marc Guy, horn, at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Other scheduled performances are viola professor David Rose at 8 p.m. Oct. 16; and guest classical guitarist Craig Einhorn at 8 p.m. Oct. 19, presented with support from the Fredonia Guitar Society.
Student ensemble performances in October include the 87-member All College Band under the direction of Carl Mazzio at 8 p.m. today featuring works by Gershwin, Husa, Whitacre, Van de Roost, and Chance in King Concert Hall; the College Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Dr. David Rudge at 8 p.m. Saturday in King; a Choral Showcase at 4 p.m. Oct. 27 in Rosch; and the Curricular Jazz Ensemble at 8 p.m. Oct. 31 in Rosch.
