Peter Dawson, 69, of Lakewood was charged with running a red light, which police say caused a two-car accident Tuesday in Jamestown.

The Jamestown Police Department and Jamestown Fire Department responded to a call for a personal-injury accident at 2:44 p.m. at the intersection of Washington and West Fifth streets.

According to police, a Brocton couple was traveling northbound on Washington Street in a Kia Sedona when Dawson ran a red light at West Fifth Street in his Toyota Camry and collided with the Sedona.
