Lillian S. Johnson, 87, of 550 S. Main St., died Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, in WCA Hospital.
A native of Jamestown, she was born Oct. 23, 1924, a daughter of the late John and Ruth Johanson Lundquist.
She was a 1942 graduate of Jamestown High School.

Prior to her retirement in 1987, she was employed for 23 1/2 years by MRC-TRW, Falconer, in engineering inspection department.
She was a member of First Lutheran Church, Ingjald Lodge 65 Independent Order of Vikings, Lakewood Rod and Gun Club Auxiliary and Red Hatters Chapter 5185, Jamestown.
Surviving are a son, William L. (Karen) Johnson of Ashville; daughter-in-law, Linda Johnson of Texas; three grandchildren: Zachary (Amy) Johnson of Dallas, Texas, Rachel (Michael) Smith of Dallas, Texas and Jesse Johnson of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; five great-grandchildren, all of Texas; and a sister, Nancy (Lowell) Larson of Jamestown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Johnson, whom she married in Sioux Falls, S.D., May 6, 1944, and who died Aug. 28, 1997; a son, Donn Johnson, Oct. 22, 1997; an infant granddaughter, Lorrie Lynn Johnson, Sept. 10, 1966; a brother, John Lundquist, November 2005; and two sisters-in-law: Jean Hildom and Vonnie Lundquist.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Daniel K. Nagle will officiate.
Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
