CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT

MAYVILLE - Jennifer Brown, 35, of Mayville was charged with improper turn, speed in zone, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se blood alcohol content of .18 percent or higher at 12:36 a.m. Saturday. Deputies observed a vehicle make a wide turn onto Valley Street. The same vehicle was also alleged to be speeding. Upon further investigation, Brown was identified as the driver and taken into custody. She will appear in Town of Chautauqua Court at a later date.

Shell S. Raymond, 44, of Jamestown was charged with felony aggravated driving while intoxicated (Leandra's Law), DWI, DWI per se, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, failure to stop at a stop sign and failure to signal turn at 1:39 a.m. Saturday. Deputies observed a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign and failure to signal a turn while turning onto Chandler Street in Jamestown. Following an investigation, Raymond was determined to be the driver and also be intoxicated. An 8-year-old and 11-year-old were in the vehicle at the time of the stop making the charge fall under Leandra's Law. Raymond did not have a valid driver's license and also has nine suspensions and/or revocations. He has also failed to answer summons on three different dates. Raymond was held in Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.

CHAUTAUQUA - Roxanne S. Terry, 46, of Erie, Pa. was charged with impeding traffic, failure to keep right, failure to comply and driving while intoxicated at 6:37 p.m. Friday. The sheriff's office received a complaint of an erratic operator on Interstate 86 in the town of Sherman. Sheriff's patrol was able to locate the vehicle on Route 430 in the town of Chautauqua. The vehicle was moving at speeds so slow that traffic was being impeded. The vehicle also failed to stop when directed to pull over. Eventually the vehicle stopped and deputies determined Terry to be the driver. She was arraigned in Town of Chautauqua Court and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Jose A. Perez, 28, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, no headlamps and moving from lane unsafely at 2:45 a.m. Saturday. Officers stopped a vehicle in the parking lot of Rite Aid Pharmacy on North Main Street at West Eighth Street for driving without headlamps and moving from lane unsafely. Further investigation revealed Perez, the operator of the vehicle, to be intoxicated. He was taken to Jamestown City Jail and is awaiting arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Nicholas L. Austin, 19, of 958 Forest Ave. Ext., Jamestown, was charged at 10 a.m. Friday for two counts of petit larceny. On Sept. 12 and Sept. 17, Nicolas L. Austin had entered Wal-Mart in Lakewood and stole merchandise totaling $449. He is due to answer the charges in the Town of Busti Court on Oct. 21.

Christopher J. Lendvay, 34, of 7503 Route 240, Ellicottville, was charged at 10 a.m. Friday with a bench warrant for failing to pay a fine to the town of Busti on an original charge of fourth-degree criminal mischief. He was arraigned in the Town of Busti Court.

WESTFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT

Jeni M. Ion, 19, of 5411 Cider Mill Road, Erie, Pa., was charged with failure to keep right and unlawful possession of marijuana at 1:25 a.m. Saturday. Westfield police stopped a vehicle operated by Ion for an alleged traffic infraction. During the stop, the odor of marijuana was present and all three occupants of the vehicle were found to be in possession of marijuana. Additionally, Brittany L. Malina, 19, of 1331 East 36th St., Erie, Pa., and Larissa Lee Ann Will, 19, of 5230 Fairlawn St., Erie, Pa. were charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. All three subjects are to appear in Westfield Village Court at a later date.

Travis L. Lanneaux, 25, of 7561 Route 20, Westfield, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, moving from lane unsafely and failure to keep right at 10:01 p.m. Friday. Westfield police were called to a report of a vehicle driving all over the road. Officers located the vehicle, which was found to be operated by Lanneaux. Upon further investigation, it was revealed that Lanneaux's driving privileges were suspended in New York state. He will appear in Village of Westfield Court at a later date.
