FREDONIA - Maple Grove defeated Fredonia, 2-1, in non-league boys soccer on Saturday to improve its record to 9-0-1.
Nick Swanson started the Red Dragons' scoring at the 28-minute mark off of an assist by Erik Olson.
Fredonia tied the score just before halftime on a goal by Aiden Lang.
Jesse Pardue netted the game-winner off of an assist by Swanson at the 68-minute mark.
SALAMANCA, DUNKIRK TIE
SALAMANCA - Mike Morris of Salamanca (6-2-1) and Zack Meadows of Dunkirk matched goals in a 1-1 double overtime match.
Morris scored his team-leading ninth goal from Austin Hill at 30 minutes of first half.
Dunkirk tied it up at 15 minutes of the second half on Meadows goal.
MacKenzie Tucker made six saves for Salamanca and Nick Kobel stopped 12 saves for Dunkirk.
