SINCLAIRVILLE - The Chautauqua County Health Department has lifted the boil water order in effect since Tuesday for all customers served by the Village of Sinclairville water supply. Water samples collected on Wednesday and Thursday show that the water is safe to drink. The village had a major water main leak Tuesday that was repaired the same day but due to a loss in pressure, a boil water order was placed into effect by the Health Department as a precaution.
The village and county would like to thank all village water customers for their cooperation and patience while the boil water order was in effect.
Any questions should be directed to Sinclairville Mayor Kenneth France at 962-9455 or the Chautauqua County Health Department at 1-866-604-6789.
