FREDONIA - Falconer (5-0, 6-1) narrowly escaped Fredonia (1-4, 2-7) to stay undefeated in Division 1 girls volleyball on Wednesday.
Falconer won with game scores of 25-18, 25-17 and 25-23.
"(Falconer's) a great volleyball team," Fredonia coach Chris Anderson said. "My kids are young and we gave them a heck of a game."

The Lady Golden Falcons got 40 assists from Kalynn Swanson while Makalia Haveron added 40 digs.
Alyssa Brooks and Kalynn Swanson each recorded nine kills and a block.
Fredonia was paced by Maddy Crandall's eight assists, six digs and two kills. Makenzie Tarnowski recorded three aces, two kills and a block while Margaret Wright added two kills and 12 digs.
SWCS TOPS DUNKIRK
Maddy Alexander delivered 10 aces, four assists and two kills and Kara Schutte seven aces, seven assists, nine kills and two aces as Southwestern (3-1, 6-1) prevailed over Dunkirk (0-5, 3-5), 25-13, 29-27, 25-22.
Sally Rudny added five kills and two blocks for Southwestern.
Alexis Clark had three aces, seven kills, a block and a dig; Khee Nance six aces, two assists, eight kills, two blocks and two digs; Lacey Clark an ace, 14 assists, four kills and block and Sarah Hanlon three aces, three assists, six kills, a block and a dig for Dunkirk.
Southwestern (3-1, 6-1) won the junior varsity match, 25-10, 25-1, 25-5.
OLEAN SWEEPS JHS
OLEAN - Bri Spears recorded 20 assists, eight digs and three kills when undefeated Olean (4-0, 8-0) swept Jamestown (1-5, 1-5), 25-16, 25-16, 25-15.
Emily Bantelman had seven kills and eight digs to aid the Lady Huskies' attack.
Chrisanna Green delivered five kills and two blocks while Jessica Pace managed three kills and eight digs.
Olean jayvees defeated Jamestown, 25-16, 25-16, 16-25.
