Zoya Katta, assisted by Morgan Genovese, tallied a pair of goals and gave Fredonia (3-3-1, 3-3) a quick, 2-0 lead in the first 20 minutes of play to lead the Lady Hillbillies past Southwestern (4-4, 3-3), 5-2, in Division 1 girls soccer action on Wednesday.
Genovese scored unassisted at the 28th minute of the first half to make it 3-0 before Brittany Feldman cut the deficit to two in the first minute of play of the second half. Fredonia, however, answered with goals from Nicole Wolben and Helen Wagner-Magitti to increase the advantage to 5-1.
Emily Wuebbolt scored in the final minute of play for Southwestern.

Bre Dahn made six saves for the winners while Britta Johnson stopped 10 shots in defeat.
FALCONER EDGES WESTFIELD
WESTFIELD - Rhea Moore scored the lone goal and Jordyn Jones was the goalie as Falconer (4-1, 5-2-1) shut out Westfield, 1-0.
Moore got her second goal of the season at 25:47 of the first half on a direct kick to give Falconer the victory.
Jones recorded five saves in producing the shutout.
Savannah Rowan made nine saves for Westfield.
