Drama Enrichment Program Seeks Applicants For Christmas Spectacular

The Drama Enrichment Program is now taking applications for its Christmas Spectacular, "Christmas Magic," to be produced on Nov. 24 at 2 and 7 p.m. at the Reg Lenna Civic Center. Talented singers and dancers from the Southern Tier and Northern Pennsylvania from the ages of 6 to adult are welcome to participate. Dancers applying for the "Rockette" style kick line should be 5'3" to 5'8" and of slender build.

Workshops take place on Sunday afternoons and evenings at the Reg Studio Theater. All workshops and rehearsals are under the direction of Michele Constantino, director of the Drama Enrichment Program.

The cast is divided into three categories: Session I, elementary which rehearses on Sundays from 1 to 2:30; Session II, junior high which rehearses on Sundays from 3 to 4:30, and Session III, high school and adult which rehearses on Sundays from 5 to 9 p.m.

Pre-registration is required. A cast and parents meeting will take place in the Reg Studio Theater on Third Street next to the Reg Lenna Civic Center on Sunday, Oct. 7 at 3:30 p.m. Participation in the program is tuition based for all categories.

"Christmas Magic" is an energetic blend of contemporary and classic Christmas music orchestrated into a song and dance variety show which features a core of dancers a la Radio City Music Hall and special guest performers.
