William Morse, 87, formerly of Hempstead, L.I., died Sept. 20, 2012, in WCA Hospital.
He was born July 25, 1925, in Akin, S.C., the son of the late William and Sally Morse.
An area resident for six years, he had been a barber in Long Island.
He will be missed by all.
In addition to his daughter Donna Morse of Jamestown, surviving are daughters Gail Houston, Lorraine Penrice and Brandy Simpson and sons Anthony Morse and Shavada Cotton; and a sister, Pearl Quearles.
No funeral service or visitation will be observed.
