Zacc Kinsey had a top-flight effort for the Jamestown junior varsity football team on Thursday.
Kinsey ran for 174 yards in 13 carries and scored the winning touchdown on a 35-yard run with 4:57 left to give the Red Raiders a 21-14 win over West Seneca West in Class AA South.
After Kinsey's run, Nikk Holland kicked the extra point for the final margin.
West Seneca West jumped out to a 14-0 lead on a 70-yard run with 8:43 left and a 26-yard run with a two-point conversion with 6:04 remaining in the second period.
Holland ran in from the seven and passed to Kyle Liuzzo for two points to cut the lead to 14-8 with 1:27 until halftime.
It was Holland scoring with a 4-yard run and the two-point conversion failed with 6:22 left in the third period for a 14-14 tie.
Holland recorded 60 yards in six attempts and Damian Jackson added 55 yards in nine carries for Jamestown.
Kevin Mosley led Jamestown in tackles with 10, Jackson and Liuzzo made seven stops and Lucas Munella six. Munella also picked off a pass.
