The Chautauqua County Antique Equipment Association will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at its grounds in Stockton.
Complete reports on the Antique Equipment Show will be presented. The group will also discuss winterizing the buildings, improvements and repairs for next year, and the Christmas party.
On Aug. 28 the group enjoyed a good turn-out on a nice evening for the annual after-the-show picnic in the new pavilion on the grounds. Preliminary reports on the show were presented by the officers.
Next year's Equipment Show, the 39th annual, will feature Oliver and White machinery. It will be held Aug. 16-18.
The Chautauqua County Antique Equipment Association is an organization of collectors and fans of antique and obsolete machinery, tools, and devices who appreciate the history of technological progress. One need not own or display equipment to join. Membership is $7 a year, $10 for a family. The public can see photos of equipment shown at shows in the past two years at the association website at CCAEA.net.
