MAYVILLE - Chautauqua Lake (3-1, 3-2) battled back after an early deficit to down North Collins in overtime with a 3-1 win in Division 3 girls soccer.
North Collins broke through in the first half when Emily Swiaekowski scored an unassisted goal 20 minutes in and things stayed the same until Emily Corwin tied things up for the Lady Thunderbirds with five minutes left in regulation on a direct kick.
In the extra period, Chautauqua Lake took the lead two minutes in as Corwin picked up her second goal of the game, unassisted, and five minutes later, Courtney Hewes scored what proved to be the game-winner from the far-right corner.
Rachel Courtney had 13 saves in goal for the winners.
Losing goalie Aurora Klawinski had 19 saves for North Collins.
PANAMA WINS
SOUTH DAYTON - Panama picked up its first victory of the season with a 2-0 win over Pine Valley (2-2, 4-4)after a scoreless first half that featured solid defense from both squads.
Panama (1-3, 1-4) finally broke through when Lauren Ruth scored 13 minutes into the second half as Kirsten Green assisted and Green then worked the ball through several defenders for the team's second goal at the 25-minute mark.
Rebekah Whitmore got the shutout in goal for Panama.
Nicole Rhinehart made eight saves for Pine Valley.
