SHERMAN - Makala Persons had 14 points, three assists and two aces and Elle Reed nine kills and a block as Sherman (3-2, 3-3) prevailed over Brocton (1-5), 25-15, 25-16, 25-20 in Division 4 girls volleyball on Friday.
Gracie Mayer recorded five assists, a kill and an ace and Danielle Reed four assists, a kill and 11 points for Sherman.
For Brocton, Kyoko Inagaki had four spikes and three kills, Kayla Peting six points and Kelly Miller six points.
The Sherman Jayvees won over Brocton, 25-15, 25-16, 25-20.
