George and Shirley Probst of Youngsville, Pa., are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on Sept. 23, 2012, with an open house at their home. The celebration is hosted by their children Don and Barbara Probst of Youngsville, Pa., Ron and Heather Probst of Greenville, S.C., and Sonia and Maurice Bennett of Youngsville, Pa. They also have two grandchildren: Trevor (Brenda) Probst and Alexis (Casey) Wickline and a great-grandson, Reid Anson Probst.
The couple were married Sept. 6, 1952, in the Youngsville Evangelical United Brethren (Methodist) Church. The Rev. Harold Lindquist performed the ceremony.
