Mark and Kathy Persons of Sherman, N.Y., and Martin and Maureen Weaver of Carthage, N.Y., announce the engagement of their children, Michelle Margaret Persons and Mitchell Scott Weaver.
Miss Persons is pursuing a degree at Houghton College. Her fiance is a 2012 graduate of Houghton College and is attending graduate school at Florida State University.
A May 2013 wedding is planned.
