ELLICOTT POLICE

James R. Blizzard Jr., 31, of Jamestown was charged with criminal contempt, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct Monday. According to police, he was involved in a domestic dispute and there was a valid court order of protection against him. During the dispute, Blizzard allegedly broke out several windows and a door at the residence, then began to use abusive language while police were attempting to take him into custody. He was arraigned and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.

Wayne A. Snyder Jr., 22, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree forgery, criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny Aug. 8. According to police, a complain was received that several checks had been stolen from a victim and issued to a business in West Ellicott. Detectives learned that several other checks had been issued in the city of Jamestown around the same time. Snyder was identified by a surveillance video that was obtained from the area businesses. He was arraigned and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.

Julio Rondon, 18, and Michael A. Morales, 33, both of Jamestown, were charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. According to a report, the Ellicott Police Department was alerted by Hollyloft Ski and Bike employees when it was found that a bicycle trying to be sold by the subjects was stolen from a residence in Jamestown. Both subjects were arraigned and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

ELLICOTTVILLE - Brian Puvel, 45, of Ellicottville was taken into custody for a warrant of violation of probation at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday. He was arraigned and remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail on $2,000 bail to be in court later.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

RANDOLPH - Traci L. Becker, 43, of Randolph was charged with second-degree harassment at 12 p.m. Tuesday. She was issued an appearance ticket for the charge to be in court later.

BROCTON - Trey P. South, 18, of Jamestown was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana at 5:58 a.m. on Aug. 13. He was issued an appearance ticket for the charge to be in court later.

POMFRET - Joshua D. Richter, 18, of Cassadaga was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana at 10:20 p.m. on Aug. 30. He was issued an appearance ticket for the charge to be in court later.

HANOVER - Susan M. Snow, 38, of Silver Creek was charged with third-degree falsely reporting an incident at 3 p.m. Tuesday. She was issued an appearance ticket for the charge to be in court later.
