CLYMER - Jo-Linda Rhodes connected for eight points, an ace and eight assists in leading Clymer (4-2) to a 25-20, 25-15, 25-12 victory over Brocton in non-league girls volleyball action on Tuesday.
Also for the Lady Pirates, Dani Reinwald had three points and 11 kills, Miranda Marucci added eight points and two kills, Marissa Trisket had 11 points and Samantha Nickerson had eight points.
For Brocton (1-4) Alison Wahl had 11 points and an ace while Kelly Miller delivered six spikes and two kills.
Clymer also won the jayvee matchup, 25-14, 25-17 and 25-10.
DIVISION 3
DRAGONS PREVAIL
WESTFIELD - Maple Grove improved to 2-3 and 2-5 overall with a 3-0 sweep over Westfield (0-3, 1-5), 25-19, 25-20 and 25-13.
For the Lady Red Dragons, Jessie Babbage delivered seven kills, six digs and four aces; Taylor Satalino added six kills, 29 digs and an ace; Taylor Whalen had 12 assists, six digs and two aces and Nickara Liddell produced four kills, 10 digs and four aces.
Westfield won all three games in the junior varsity match.
POPE SHOWS WAY
FORESTVILLE - Cherish Pope had eight kills, two blocks, two aces and two digs for Forestville as the Lady Hornets (2-1, 4-1) swept Panama, 25-12, 25-13, 25-19.
In addition to Pope's performance, Emily Gilman added seven kills and five digs, Jessica Makuch had six kills and four blocks, Ryanne Dugan contributed 27 assists and Baylee Gloss had four aces.
For Panama (1-2, 2-3), Cora Monroy led with two aces, four aces and four blocks, Crystal Swanson had five kills, and Carly Abbate added 13 assists.
Forestville also won the jayvee match.
EININK SHINES
MAYVILLE - Jenna Einink delivered 10 kills, 11 aces and a block to help Chautauqua Lake (4-0, 3-0) defeat Pine Valley, 25-10, 25-9 and 25-13.
Along with Einink, Hannah Rauh had six kills, six aces and eight digs; Tara Hunt five aces, three digs and 12 assists; Katie Meadows three kills, an ace, a block and six assists; and Sydney Milliman four kills, two aces and four digs in the victory.
SHERMAN TOPS WV
SHERMAN - Sherman topped West Valley in three games, 25-14, 25-16 and 25-18, to improve to 2-2 overall and 2-1 in the division.
Elle Reed led the winners with six kills and five aces while teammate Grace Mayer chipped in with 10 points, three aces, two kills and an ace; Julia Rater had three kills, three aces and 10 points; and Danielle Reed delivered three kills and three aces.
For West Valley, Lisa Reed had nine aces and Liz Dusterhus had six assists.
Sherman won the jayvee match.
