To Ride Bikes
On Thursday the Allegheny Outdoor Club will ride bikes on the Ghost Town Trail, near Johnstown, Pa. The ride will be an overnight event. Arrangements have been made for participants to stay at the Dillweed Bed & Breakfast. For more information, call Earl Ross at 814-706-1198. Also on Thursday, the club will ride bikes in the Busti area. Participants will meet at the Sugar Grove Post Office at 5:30 p.m. From there they will ride to Busti for ice cream then return to Sugar Grove. World Beat Drum Circle To Meet
LILY DALE - The World Beat Drum Circle will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Church of the Living Spirit, Cleveland Avenue, Lily Dale, corner of Cleveland and Library streets. George Clees will be the facilitator. All are welcome to attend, from those who have never drummed to the most experienced. Several drums will be available for use during the evening. Rummage Sale Set For Friday
ELLINGTON - The Ellington United Methodist Women, 776 Main St., Ellington, will have a rummage sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and a bag sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
Mayville Library To Host Activities
MAYVILLE - The Mayville Library will host afterschool activities on Mondays and Thursdays this fall. Movies will be shown on Monday afternoons at 4 p.m. Popcorn and drinks will be provided. Thule Lodge
To Host Dinner
BEMUS POINT - The Thule Lodge, 4123 Pancake Hill Road, will hold its Swiss steak dinner from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the lodge. The Thule Lodge is the Swedish organization formed 105 years ago in the Jamestown/Bemus Point areas to preserve Swedish heritage. The public is welcome to attend.
Shopping Day Set For Grant
Thirty-One, Lia Sophia and The Pampered Chef will host a shopping day from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at 208 Pine St., above Lewis and Lewis P.C., to benefit the Distinguished Young Women Scholarship Program. All proceeds will be donated to the scholarship program for The Distinguished Young Women Scholarship Program.
