Gloria M. Simmons, 83, of Ripley, N.Y., died Sept. 14, 2012, at home.
She was born in North East, Pa., on Nov. 8, 1928, to the late Marie and Ray Law. She was married to the late Robert L. Simmons, who died in 1985.
Gloria is survived by two daughters: Mary Anne Sim-mons of Ripley and Lor-raine Castady of Ukiah, Calif.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Besides her husband and parents, she was prede-ceased by her grand-daughter, Laura A. Kelly; and sister Roberta Campaign.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Ripley. Rela-tives and friends are invited to attend the service and may call at the Mathews Funeral Home, 104 W. Main St., Ripley Wednes-day from 6 to 9 p.m.
