Auto Club To Meet Wednesday
The Chautauqua Lake Region Antique Automobile Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Fluvanna War Vets. A special police dog demonstration will be given by Sgt. Area Author To Host Book Signing
SINCLAIRVILLE - Amy Lynn, an area author, will sign copies of her book, Panzerotto, at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at the Sinclairville Public Library. Books will be available for $20.
Women's Bible Study To Begin
Missing Pieces, an eight-week ladies Bible study by Jennifer Rothchild and directed by Cyndy Lindblad, will be presented at 7 p.m. beginning Thursday, Sept. 20, in the Bemus Point Methodist Church, 4954 Bemus-Ellery Road, Bemus Point. It will also be presented at 9 a.m. beginning on Friday, Sept. 21, in the Zion Covenant Church, 520 Fairmount Ave., Jamestown. Poland To Start Dog Census
POLAND - Town of Poland dog control officers will start a dog census on Wednesday. Any dogs found unlicensed starting Wednesday will be charged an additional $10 to the dog licensing fee. Dog owners must show the dog's license, rabies certificate and spay/neuter certificate, if applicable. The Poland Town Clerk's office is open from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday. The office is closed Fridays and will be closed Wednesday, Sept. 19. The town's dog control officers are Brian King, Paul Willis and Darla Rissel.
Frewsburg Rabies Clinic Is Thursday
FREWSBURG - The Chautauqua County Health Department will hold a rabies vaccination clinic from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the old highway building behind the Frewsburg Town Hall, 5 W. Main St., Frewsburg. Dr. Pat Fales will be the attending veterinarian. The clinic is sponsored by the town of Carroll. All pets will be required to be on a leash or in a cage, and owners are encouraged to bring rabies vaccination records for each animal that will be receiving a shot. Medicare Seminar Set For Thursday
