The Jamestown junior varsity football team (2-1) was handed its first loss of the season on Saturday when Lancaster came away from Strider Field with a 19-12 verdict.
Lancaster scored on two passes in the first quarter of distances of 4 and 25 yards plus an extra-point kick to take a 13-0 lead.
An 80-yard kickoff return by Matt Nazzaro cut the deficit to 13-6 with 1:28 remaining in the first quarter.
There was no scoring until Nazzaro went over from the 4 in the fourth quarter, but the extra-point try was stopped with 6:20 showing.
A 2-yard run gave the Redskins a 19-12 margin with 5:12 left.
Zacc Kinsey gained 71 yards on seven attempts and Navarro ended up with 58 yards on six carries for the Red Raiders.
Kinsey and Nazzaro was tops in tackles with five and Damien Jackson with four in defeat.
