KENNEDY - If you want to show off your classic car and like chicken barbecue, then Sam Conti's Auto Repair is the place to be Saturday.
The business is located at 671 Route 394, Kennedy, on the four corners of Kennedy. Conti is hosting a grand opening celebration with a chicken barbecue provided by the Veterans of Modern Warfare Chapter 20. Also, there will be a free automobile show for anyone interested in displaying their vehicle. The event will feature giveaways and door prizes from Sam Conti's Auto Repair and other neighboring businesses. There will be a special on oil changes available and wax hands for children.
Conti has 12 years experience working for other repair shops. He opened his first garage last month to offer quality work at an affordable price.
''I can provide better work at a cheaper rate for people,'' he said. ''The most important item I want people to know is I do what it takes to make the customer happy, and I have really reasonable rates.''
Conti said customer service is so important to him that people can call him with emergencies at his shop 267-6008 or on his cell phone at 489-0609.
''It is all about customer service,'' he said.
Conti said he has always had a passion for fix vehicles and motors since he was a child.
''When I was a kid, I couldn't afford to have someone fix my four wheeler, so I had to learn how to do it,'' he said. ''I've always had an interest in fixing things.''
The business has a three-bay garage where Conti provides all the services people expect from an auto repair shop. From oil changes to selling and rotating tires, Conti is ready for any repair job.
''So far, there hasn't been anything I haven't been able to fix for a customer,'' he said. ''I'm not that far out. I'm just a short distance from Falconer, Jamestown and Frewsburg.''
The business is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
