Trap Leagues

Bob Faga and Bob Waterman delivered perfect scores of 50s as Celoron won the three-way shootoff to settle first place during the field day results of the Chautauqua County Trap League.

Celoron scored 341 points compared to Busti with 337 and Randolph with 336.

The field day results saw Faga and Waterman hit 50 and Dick Starks with a 49 in Class A.

Charlie Brown recorded a 49, Jim Nowacki a 48 and Paul Prentice a 48 in Class B. In Class C, Bill Gross had a 48, Don Levin was with second with a 48 and Bob Schilling third with a 48.

Class D was won by Howard Arnold with a 47, Sue Wilson was second with a 45 and Jerry Lewis third with a 44.

The top 10 shooters in the league were Skip Frazier 96.89, Gary Sickles96.67, Marty Gawron 96.63, Faga 96.33, Scott Carter 96.12, Tim Young 95.78, Russ Wingard 95.76, Kevin Sturzenbecker 95.53, Shaun Russell 95.50 and Kim Milford 95.33.

Frazier was awarded the high gun award followed by Sickles.

Cindy Cable was high lady with a 91.56 followed by Jeanna Lindstrom with a 82.67. Al Staerr was high super senior veteran with a 94.86 followed by Bill Dallas with a 90.78 and Wingard was high senior veteran with a 95.76 and Dick Starks was second with a 94.71.

Dave Kingsley was the top veteran with a 94.88 followed by Jerry Willett with a 94.75 while Tyler Chase was the leading junior with a 91.53 and Dylan Hartman was second with a 86.67.

Dalton Becker was the high sub junior with a 91.25 and Ben Paddock with a 88.24 was second.

Wingard won their long run with a 172 followed by Kirk Decker with a 164.

In Class A, Marty Gawron was the leader with a 96.33 followed by Bob Faga 96.33, Scott Carter 96.12, Tim Young 95.78, Kevin Sturzenbecker 95.53, Shaun Russell 95.50 and Kim Milford 95.33.

George Powley was the leader in Class B with a 94. Kevin Nicklas had 93.53, Charlie Brown 93, Rich Foster 92.67 and Craig Broberg 92.

Howard Linstrom won Class C with a 91.56, Shane Lindstrom was second with a 91, Bob Schilling-Rose Corbramn third with a 89.33 and Paul Hvizdzak and Tom Boire fourth with an 89.

Dave Davies drilled a 84.59 to win Class D followed by Adam Prentice with a 84.22, Sandy Rater 83.67 and Amber Lindstrom 82.35.

For Celoron, Faga was high gun with a 96.33 and the runner-up was Carter with a 96.12.

Cindy Cable was high lady with a 91.56 and Rose Corbran was second with 89.33. David Davies was high super senior veteran with a 84.59, Russ Wingard was high senior veteran with a 95.76 followed by Mike Cluchey with an 88.53. Dave Kingsley was high veteran with a 94.88 and Jerry Willett was second with a 94.75, and Dalton Becker was the high sub junior with a 91.25.

Tim Young was high gun for Busti with a 95.78 followed by Kirk Decker with a 95.07, Sandy Rater was the high lady with a 83.67, Bill Dallas was the high super senior veteran with a 90.78 trailed by Bob Schilling with a 89.33. Dick Starks was the high senior veteran with a 94.1 with Hod Edgreen second at 93.29, Dave Straight was the high veteran with a 93.60 with Brian Westerdahl next 89.89. Tyler Chase was the high junior with a 91.63 and Dylan Hartman was second with a 86.67. Ben Paddock was the high sub junior with an 88.24.

Skip Frazier headed Randolph with the high gun at 96.89 followed by Gary Sickles with a 96.67. Gary Sickles Sr. was high super senior veteran with a 96,67 and Al Staerr was second with a 94.86. D.J. Bifaro was the high senior veteran with a 94.33 followed by Red Clark with a 88.43. Tom Boire was the high veteran with an 89 with Dick Anderson second with an 88.80,. Jacqueline Philp was the high junior with a 53.50 and Karley Studley was high sub junior with a 74.13 and Austin Myers the runner-up with a 60.88.

Mike Mackey was the pacesetter for Carroll with a 94.75 high gun and Marty Nelson was the runner-up with a 94.44. Sue Wilson was the high lady with a 77.86, Ron Feidler was the high super senior veteran with a 86.93, Chuck Travis was the high veteran with a 88.67 and Alex Kyler was the high sub junior with a 75.71.
