June R. Culver Bartlett, 81, of 8 Lamont St., James-town, formerly of Perrysburg, N.Y., passed away peacefully Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, in the Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility, surrounded by her family.
She was born July 7, 1931, in Rochester, N.Y., the daughter of the late Hollis Hyde and Rose Nelson Culver.
June was currently a member of New Beginnings Fellowship United Methodist Church. Earlier, she was a member of the Perrysburg United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school. She loved working with and spending time with children, especially her own grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband of more 60 years, Albert R. Bartlett, whom she married Nov. 5, 1949, in Perrysburg; a daughter, Judy (Dwane) Comstock of Busti; a son, Bill (Anna) Bartlett of Ashville; four grandchildren: John, Wendy, Rebecca and April; six great-grandchildren: Christian, Renee, KayLeigh, Kalob, Jermin (Vicki), and Amanda; one great-great grandson, Cole; and a sister, Jean Claeys of Brockport.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Paul, Earl, and Fred Culver; and a sister, Joanne Gross.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Aaron Bjork, and the Rev. Kenneth Hodgins will officiate.
Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home, where the Koinonia Community will sing at 7:45 p.m. Friday.
