Cameron James Howe, 20, of Westport, Conn., beloved son of Jim and Pat-ti Howe and loving brother of Caroline Howe, passed away Sept. 6, 2012, in San-ta Barbara, Calif.
Cameron was born in Manhattan, and he and his family are longtime residents of Westport, Conn.
Cameron lived more in his 20 years than most live in a long lifetime. He had a zest for life and dedication to follow his dreams. This led Cameron to attend high school at Stratton Moun-tain School in Vermont, where he graduated with honors, while competing as a nationally ranked snow-boarder. For college, he chose to go west and move from the snow to the surf, attending the University of California Santa Barbara - he would have been a junior this fall.

The outpouring of sup-port and love from his friends on Facebook has been amazing, speaking about a person with the biggest smile and biggest heart - a gentle, sensitive soul who has left his mark on so many lives. He was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
A service celebrating his life will be held Saturday Sept. 15, 2012, at 11 a.m., at Greens Farm Church, 71 Hillandale Road, Westport, Conn. 203-227-2728. There will be a casual re-ception following the ser-vice at the church. Inter-ment will be private.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Mary and Angelo Peccini of Ply-mouth Mass.
In addition to his parents and sister, he leaves behind his grandparents, Phylis and Burdette Howe of El-lington, N.Y.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
