Whippo, Foti Score Two Goals Each In Frewsburg Girls Win

FREWSBURG - Maddy Whippo and Karli Foti were the leaders as unbeaten Frewsburg (3-0) belted Silver Creek (0-2), 7-1, in Division 2 girls soccer Monday afternoon.

Whippo and Foti scored twice when Frewsburg exploded in the second half with five unanswered goals to win going away.

Silver Creek got on the scoreboard first as Dyshianna Denisco scored three minutes into the game.

Sam Mann tied it up at 27 minutes on an assist from Janessa Anderson and Ryanne Strong gave the Bears the lead at 2-1 with an assist from Whippo with three minutes left in the first half.

Then came the second half with Whippo scoring twice from Annis at 39 minutes from Annis and at 31 minutes from Abbey Germain.

Foti tallied her two goals at 26 minutes on an assist from Annie Berg and at 12 minutes from Whippo.

Courtney Williams added the final Frewsburg goal with 59 seconds left on an assist from Strong.

Tess Alianell made six saves for the victory while Jamie Hehir had 12 saves in defeat.

RANDOLPH BLANKS C-LV

RANDOLPH - It was all Randolph as the Lady Cardinals (2-1-1) shut out Cattaraugus-Little Valley, 4-0.

Six minutes into the first half, Taylor Zachar scored off an assist by Courtney Eberle and Randolph made it 2-0 when Sabrina Jackson found the net for an unassisted goal with three minutes left.

Jackson added another unassisted goal 10 minutes into the second half and with 15 minutes left, Elizabeth Roosa scored on a corner kick.

Tiffany Keyes got the win for Randolph, collecting three saves.

Megan Jones had 20 saves for the Lady Timberwolves (0-3).

SALAMANCA ROLLS

SALAMANCA - Alyssa Coustenis had three goals to lead Salamanca (3-2, 2-1) to a 7-0 win over Cassadaga Valley (1-4, 0-3).

Cale James, Shae Smith, Ryanne Rehl and Micky Tinnerman had one goal each for the Lady Warriors.

Courtney James was the shutout goaltender had two saves.
