It was quite a turnaround for JCC, which suffered a tough 2-1 loss in overtime at Broome CC on Saturday.
''Honestly I didn't know what I would get after yesterday's heartbreaking loss,'' JCC coach Dana Shelters said. '' I thought they might come out and play this way.''
He added, ''We dominated the first half yesterday like today.''
The difference was the ball went in the net on Sunday.
Danelle Shelters, Linnea Anderson, Nicole Mahoney, Megan Lundy and Samantha Colston scored a goal each for the Jayhawks.
Skelly and Anderson had two assists each while Mahoney and Jill Slawiak had one each.
JCC goaltender Emily Pleszewski had three saves.
The Jayhawks return to action at 4 p.m. on Wednesday in a Region 3 Division III game at Alfred State College.
