JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Joseph D. Anthony, 42, of Jamestown was charged with moving from lane unsafely, failure to keep right, driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or higher at 2:24 a.m. Saturday. Jamestown police observed a vehicle on East Second Street and stopped it at Tiffany Avenue. Anthony was observed operating the vehicle and found to be intoxicated. He was taken to Jamestown City Jail and charged. He will be arraigned in Jamestown City Court.

Edwin F. Liriano, 20, of Jamestown and Dezel Gulley, 19, of New Rochelle were charged with disorderly conduct at 1:15 a.m. Saturday. Jamestown police officers were called to The Q at 104 W. Second St. for a report of several people fighting. Officers arrived on the scene and observed Liriano and Gulley attempting to fight with several people and staff outside the bar. Both were taken to Jamestown City Jail.

Aaron Boyd, 25, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and endangering the welfare of a child at 4:45 p.m. Friday. Officers responded to 29 Price St. for a report of a past-tense domestic incident. It was alleged that Boyd was involved in an argument with a female victim in which he threw several items and struck a 2-year-old victim in the chest causing him to have temporary breathing issues. Boyd then broke a VCR before leaving. Officers later located Boyd and he was taken into custody. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held pending arraignment.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT

RIPLEY - Matthew J. Houle, 21, of Ripley was charged with numerous vehicle and traffic violations following a stop at 7:51 p.m. Friday. Sheriff's deputies stopped the vehicle Houle was operating for having an expired registration. It was also discovered that the plates on Houle's vehicle belonged to another vehicle. He was charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle, switching plates, altering the registration sticker after he changed the numbers with a black marker, uninspected motor vehicle, using a forged/fictitious inspection sticker that he had taken from another vehicle, unlicensed operation and using studded tires between May 1 and Oct. 15. He will appear in Town of Ripley Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA - Marla M. Mitchell, 37, of 11 Roberts Ave., Chautauqua, was taken into custody at 7:55 p.m. Friday on a bench warrant out of Arcade Village Court. Chautauqua Institution Police took her into custody and handed her over to Arcade Police to answer the charge.

SHERIDAN - James Cisneros, 25, of Silver Creek was charged with following too closely, unsafe lane change, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher at 2:29 a.m. Saturday. Sheriff's deputies observed a vehicle tailgating another vehicle eastbound on state Route 20. When the vehicle attempted to pass, it failed to signal and deputies pulled it over. Cisneros was found to be the operator and charged. He will appear in Sheridan Town Court at a later date.

HANOVER - Christine M. Fuentes, 36, of Hanover Road, Silver Creek, was charged with second-degree harassment at 5:09 p.m. Saturday. Deputies responded to a call for an altercation on Hanover Road. Upon arrival and further investigation, it was determined that Fuentes punched another person at the residence. She was taken into custody and arraigned in Town of Hanover Court. Fuentes will appear at a later date.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT

RANDOLPH - Dale R. Wagatha Jr., 30, of 9846 Marx Road, Little Valley, was charged with second-degree unlicensed operation, open container of alcohol in a vehicle, unregistered vehicle and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument after a traffic stop on Main Street in Randolph at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday. Wagatha was released with an appearance ticket for Town of Randolph Court at a later date.

COLDSPRING - A 16-year-old male was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment at 12:17 a.m. Saturday. He was charged following an investigation into a domestic incident, arraigned in Town of Randolph Court and released with an appearance ticket for Town of Coldspring Court at a later date.
