Temp Posting For State Bridge
The New York State Department of Transportation has announced that effective immediately, the state Route 5/U.S. Route 20 bridge over Cattaraugus Creek in Erie and Chautauqua counties, and the Cattaraugus Territory of the Seneca Nation will be posted for a maximum weight limit of 20 tons for approximately the next three weeks. The bridge will remain open but will be restricted to vehicle traffic under 20 tons as repairs are made to steel members. Motorists with vehicles over 20 tons are advised to use an alternate route.
Ladies Bible Study Begins Tuesday
Ladies Bible Study will begin Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. or 6:30 p.m. at Levant Wesleyan Church. The study will be "Malachi - A Love That Never Lets Go" by Lisa Harper. The eight-week class includes a workbook. The cost is $12. The church is located on Route 394 between Falconer and Kennedy. Class will meet in room 107. Panama Board To Meet Monday
The Panama Central School Board of Education will hold its scheduled board meeting Monday at 7 p.m. in the board room. This meeting is open to the public.
Revival Services Begin Sunday
Lighthouse Baptist Church, 381 Camp St., Jamestown will have revival services this Sunday at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., and Monday to Wednesday at 7 p.m. The speaker is evangelist Lou DiFilippantonio, Pillar Ministries of Columbus, Ohio and George Gray, missionary to the blind, of Circle of Love, Cleveland, Texas. There will be special music. A nursery will be provided. The public is invited.
Southwestern Board To Meet
The Southwestern Central School Board of Education will hold a regular meeting Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in the board room at the middle school. The purpose of the meeting is to conduct school business. The public is invited to attend.

Library Board To Meet Wednesday
BEMUS POINT - The Bemus Point Library Board meets every second Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. at the library, 13 Main St., Bemus Point. The next meeting is Wednesday, Sept. 12. The public is welcome to attend.
Seniors To Meet On Tuesday
SINCLAIRVILLE - The Sinclairville Senior Citizens will meet on Tuesday at noon at the Sinclairville fire hall dining room for their monthly luncheon and program. All those attending are asked to bring a dish of food to pass and their own table service. Music will be provided by the Backwoods Bluegrass. New members are always welcome.
