JAMESTOWN POLICE
Barbara Swan-Flores, 44, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated, endangering the welfare of a child and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at 3:51 p.m. Wednesday. According to police, officers were dispatched to the area of 811 Prendergast Ave. for a report of a motor-vehicle accident. Upon arrival, officers observed Swan-Flores attempting to leave the scene after striking a parked vehicle in her Dodge Dakota pickup truck. At the time, Swan-Flores had a 12-year-old in the vehicle with her. She was charged and held in the Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.
James S. Pirrello, 38, of Jamestown was charged with failure to keep right, making an improper turn, operating with a suspended registration, operating without insurance, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and driving while intoxicated at 2:28 a.m. Thursday. According to a police report, the charges were issued after Pirrello was stopped on E. Eighth Street. He will be arraigned in the Jamestown City Court and appear later at a DMV hearing.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
RANDOLPH - Two 14-year-old males, both from Randolph, were charged with fourth-degree stalking at 10 p.m. on Aug. 28. They were issued appearance tickets for the charges.
ELLERY - Richard W. Burge, 42, of Bemus Point, was charged with driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent at 5:50 p.m. Wednesday. He was later released to a third party.
HANOVER - Thomas M. Kiley, 37, of Irving, was charged with third-degree assault, criminal mischief, second-degree criminal contempt and second-degree harassment at 12:20 a.m. Thursday.
Justin M. Stanfield, 25, of Portland, was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, multiple equipment violations and driving with unsafe tires at 5:20 p.m. Wednesday. He was issued appearance tickets for the charges and will be in court later.
