The Viking Lake Park recently hosted its annual Viking Old Fashion Day activities with old-fashioned equipment, food, tractor hay rides and crafts. A working antique peanut roaster provided freshly roasted peanuts. Cotton candy, ice cream with maple syrup and vinegar french fries were available for "old-fashioned" prices. A juggling exhibition by 10-year-old Matthew Jones provided entertainment. The afternoon program ended with the traditional corn and wiener roast.
