After Fast Start, JCC Women Suffer Setback

NORTH EAST, Pa. - Jamestown Community lost a hard-fought NJCAA Region 3 women's volleyball match with Mercyhurst North East on Tuesday night.

The Jayhawks started out with an impressive, 25-15 win, but then were beaten the next two games, 22-25 and 20-25 before bouncing back, 25-23. Then they had a fifth game and JCC lost, 7-15.

Christina Rauh of JCC had two aces, seven kills, 11 digs, a block and 24 assists while Anna Nietupski added two aces, seven kills and five digs, and Kelsey Kyser collected 11 kills, four digs and five blocks.
