Jo-Linda Rhodes scored 17 points, 15 assists and two aces as Clymer topped host Maple Grove, 25-12, 25-21, 23-25, 25-23, in non-league volleyball Monday.
Dani Reinwald produced six points, 10 kills, nine blocks and two aces, and Clymer teammate Miranda Marucci added 14 points, two aces and two kills.
Nickara Liddell led Maple Grove with eight kills, 11 digs, an ace and three blocks; Taylor Satalino had seven kills, 31 digs, two aces; Sierra Speranza 12 assists; and Taylor Whalen12 assists, three digs and an ace.
Maple Grove won the junior varsity match in three games.
PANAMA PREVAILS
SHERMAN - Panama opened its girls volleyball season on a winning note, posting a 3-0 sweep of Sherman.
The Lady Panthers (1-0) posted games of 25-21, 25-9 and 25-12, and were led by Carly Abbate with six aces, 16 assists, two kills and 10 service points. Crystal Swenson had three aces, 14 points and six kills; Brittany Lenart added five kills, an ace and 11 points; and Cora Monroy had three kills and three blocks.
For Sherman (0-1), Elle Reed had three aces, seven kills, six points and three blocks; Julia Rater made three kills; and Danielle Reed added six assists.
Panama also won the jayvee match.
FALCONER FALLS
FALCONER - The Falconer Lady Golden Falcons got off to a good start, but ended up with a loss in non-league girls volleyball Monday evening.
Falconer (1-1) began by beating Portville(2-0), 25-17 in the first game, but the Panthers won the final three games, 26-24, 25-16, 25-21, to record a 3-1 victory.
Justine Zink had 15 kills, five aces, three blocks and three digs; Shania Griffin 10 kills, two aces and five digs; and Taylor Lee 28 assists, three aces, three digs and block for the winners.
For Falconer, Shannon Gunnell recorded 18 kills, two aces and a block; Alyssa Brooks eight kills and two aces; Makalia Haveron 44 digs; and Kaylynn Swanson 37 assists.
Falconer won the junior varsity match in three games.
EAGLES WIN
ELLICOTTVILLE - Courtney Scanlon delivered 21 kills, nine digs and four blocks as Ellicottville(2-0) downed Cattaraugus-Little Valley (1-1), 25-23, 15-16, 24-26, 25-21.
Janae Hamilton supplied 15 kills, five blocks and six digs and Marissa Hamilton added three digs and two assists in the win.
Sara Crandall led C-LV with 12 kills, 11 digs and six assists, while Shelly Bach had six kills, a block and two assists, and Erin McGlew eight digs and three aces.

BETHEL BAPTIST FALLS
Host Bethel Baptist was beaten by Calvary Baptist in three games.
Calvary Baptist recorded 25-16, 25-15 and 25-9 wins over Bethel Baptist despite Hannah Boardman having 12 serves, three spikes and 36 bumps, and Christian Bailey five serves, 26 bumps and two spikes.
Laura Davis had nine serves, 21 bumps and four spikes, Ariana Inman four serves, 26 bumps and two spikes, and Laura Sard six serves, 21 bumps, seven sets and four spikes in defeat.
The jayvees went to Bethel by scores of 25-14, 16-25, 15-13.
Nitasha Gruber delivered 21 serves and nine bumps, Davis 15 serves, six bumps, and two spikes, Mikayla Fuller five serves and six bumps and Elizabeth Swanson six serves and 10 bumps for the winners.
