David M. Dorman, 36, of Jamestown, died unexpectedly at 11:44 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, in WCA Hospital.
He was born Oct, 16, 1975, in Jamestown, a son of the late William E. and Susan Boardman Dorman Sr.
David was a 1994 graduate of Jamestown High School.

In addition to a son and a daughter, surviving are seven brothers and sisters: William E. (Jean) Dorman Jr., Marion E. (Samantha) Dorman, Jason W. (Jackie) Dorman, Hope (Ken) Abbey and Luke A. Dorman, all of Jamestown and Linda (Shawn) Cosgrove and Sally (Tom) Brown, both of Minnesota; as well as 31 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother in 2008 and father in 2011.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service, from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
