Patrick and Teri Apthorpe of Falconer, N.Y., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family breakfast at Friendly's restaurant in Jamestown, N.Y. They are the parents of Patrick (Maryjo) Apthorpe II of Florida, and the late David Thomas and Michael Anthony Apthorpe. They have four granddaughters: Christina, Randi-Lynn, Kara Sue and Samanthajo and three great-grandchildren: Magdalynn, Ernie and Berton.
Apthorpe and the former Teri Franchina were married Aug. 4, 1962, in Our Lady of Loreto Church in Falconer, N.Y. Father Paul Balenti performed the ceremony.
Apthorpe is retired from SKF in Falconer, N.Y. Mrs. Apthorpe is employed by Hot Bodies Tanning in Jamestown, N.Y. The are members of Our Lady of Loreto Church in Falconer, N.Y., and the Falconer Moose. Mrs. Apthorpe is a member of the the Falconer Legion.
